D12 Hit Location Body Die
Whether you would like to build a critical hit system around it or just use it for adding color to your combat encounters, this hit location d12 is a quick way to improve combat descriptions in RPGs. One single roll thrown with your attack roll and you have a specific hit location. You could even design simple house rules that say if the hit location is impossible it is an automatic miss or a hit to a specific has a chance to disarm. Whatever your group can think of to add would be pretty simple since you will not have to create a base table to begin with.
This entry is for a single opaque white 28 mm 12 sided die. The words on the die are etched into the surface and inked in red. The twelve sides are labeled head, chest, stomach, right arm, left arm, right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg, right foot, left foot, and full body.
This is the solution if you always liked the idea of specific hit locations, but hated the wide range of confusing and sometimes complex tables that come with most game rules.
