Stargate SG-1 RPG Core Book

Stargate SG-1 RPG Core Book

One of the coolest concepts on screen has been translated into the Stargate SG-1 Roleplaying Game by AEG. Not just any game either, a d20 compatible game powered by the extremely successful Spycraft engine. This massive volume of information on the SG-1 universe lets you enter the Stargate and explore the farthest reaches of the galaxy as a member of the Stargate Command.

Your team will encounter new planets, ancient cultures, alien species, and of course, fight the Goa'uld at every step. It is all here in this thick book. The history of the Stargate, the Stargate program and the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, the worlds through the gate that SG-1 has visited already, Stargate character creation with new classes, skills and feats appropriate to exploring the galaxy, gear and weapons every SG team needs to survive alone on a foreign world, and a section for gamemasters detailing running Stargate SG-1 and planning adventures, campaigns, and worlds.

There are also two appendices, one on crossovers and one on characters and creatures from the SG-1 TV show. The crossover section provides rules for using the SG-1 book with other d20 games (some very interesting possibilities here). The character section has stats for people like General Hammond and Dr. Daniel Jackson and creatures such as the Reetou and Unas.

The ancient menace called the Goa'uld are out there waiting to take their revenge on the rebellious planet Earth. You and the other members of your SGC team are all that stands between them and total destruction of our civilization. The Goa'uld might be in for a surprise or two though, because the SGC doesn't wait for anyone. AEG's Stargate SG-1 is the operating manual you need to open the gate to a whole galaxy of adventure, exploration, and interstellar warfare.

The Stargate SG-1 Roleplaying Game is a 488 page hardback bound book with color pictures and illustrations. The book is fully indexed.

It requires the use of the Dungeons and Dragons Players Handbook (third edition) published by Wizards of the Coast.
